ZOSTA came into existence in 1979 and has, since the past 36 years been promoting a religious and cultural awareness among Zoroastrian students. In keeping with its aim and purpose, the Committee Members plan and organize activities and competitions for the students, teachers and staff members throughout the year.
As is the case every year, this year too, competitions were organized giving ample scope for our Parsi / Irani students to display their potential.
Each year, ZOSTA also recognizes the scholastic achievements of the students at the S.S.C., I.C.S.E., C.B.S.E. and the H.S.C. Examinations and ZOSTA Certificates and Prizes are awarded to all the students who have excelled at these examinations. Deserving Graduates and Post Graduates, who have attained a good percentage in their respective examinations, too are felicitated with cash prizes and certificates. All these awards are presented to the students at the ZOSTA Annual Prize Distribution every year.
Zoroastrian Principals and Teachers, too, are duly honoured for the sincere services rendered by them to their Institutions. The ZOSTA awards and cash prizes are awarded to those Principals and teachers who have loyally served their institutions for more than fifteen years, twenty-five years and thirty-five years.
Teachers are the architects of society and ZOSTA acknowledges their dedicated service in teaching academic and co-curricular subjects, as well as promoting discipline and moral values in the students under their care throughout the year.
The Committee Members dedicatedly work throughout the year with the purpose of giving a platform to all the Parsi / Zoroastrian boys and girls a chance to display their talents. They strive together to do their best so that the future generations of our community honour and abide by the sacred tenets of Humata, Hukhata and Huvarshta of our religion and follow the ZOSTA Motto of 'Frashmi Aethrya'. -(Progress Culturally)
